Outdoor Photography DestinationsThe destinations section of my site covers the tropics to the outback and it covers terrain from deserts to the seaside. Locales will include national parks, state parks, wildlife refuges and everything in between. I’ll discuss what can be seen from wildlife to scenic landscapes, where it can be seen, and the best time to go. I can inform you of wildlife hotspots and not so hotspots within these locations. I’ll enlighten you as to what you can expect in the way of weather depending on the time of year. Knowing what to pack and wear can make the difference between a good and a bad trip, just ask the Emperor when it came to his new clothes. Bad trip indeed!! It always pays to be prepared for all types of weather. Some places, due to elevation change or other factors can mean going from short sleeve to winter jacket in a short time. I have never been known to lug a downy jacket to Tucson, Arizona in June however. Over packing has its downside too. The season your chosen location is experiencing is not only a packing issue, but also a consideration with respect to accessibility of some areas. So, it pays to know those types of details, for instance, road closures due to lingering winter snow in the springtime. It is my intent to apprise you of those details. Many articles will include directions or maps and possible modes of transportation. I’ll point out possible hazards that exist whether they are animals, trail conditions, or security issues. I’ll recommend trip information sources a well. Hopefully, my articles will help to make you a happy camper or at least a less unhappy camper on your journey to your destination, while you are there, and on your way back home.
